Roped Scrambling

The focus will be on improving your movement and safe rope work that will allow you to move confidently and competently on the harder graded routes.

If you are already competently seconding roped scrambles and would like to try leading yourself we can also provide this. Again the focus is on movement and safety, how to protect harder sections and build belays to bring up a second.

These grand days out in Snowdonia, North Wales with Leading Edge will involve the ascents (and descents) of appropriately graded scrambles on one of many fine mountains of Snowdonia, where possible this will include visiting the summit. A 6-7 hour mountain journey should be expected, weather permitting.

Here at Leading Edge we pride ourselves on delivering individualised and progressive courses. This Roped Scrambling course will be very much tailored to your personal experience, ability and aspirations. We are expert at judging suitable levels of challenge and are sure you will be delighted and probably surprised at what you are able to accomplish on our courses. All are very much on a challenge by choice basis, with our supportive and encouraging style allowing you to exceed your expectations.
